Midnight Wine Shine Weigela is a dwarf mounding deciduous shrub with shiny dark foliage that is a blend of bronze, green, and deep burgundy.  Abundant deep pink funnel-shaped flowers bloom from mid to late spring.  Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Midnight Wine Shine has better hardiness against tip die-back.
